Sound Familiar?

Guesses at long words. Avoids reading aloud. Takes forever on one page.

They're falling behind

Reading hasn't clicked yet, and every school year the gap gets a little wider. Homework that should take 20 minutes takes an hour.

Nothing has stuck

Apps, worksheets, extra phonics, more of the same. You've tried it all, and your child is still struggling to keep up.

They're losing confidence

Your smart, capable kid is starting to believe they're not good at reading. They are — they just haven't been taught the way their brain learns yet.

The Method

EBLI — Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction

EBLI is a speech-to-print approach grounded in the science of reading. Instead of starting with letters and rules, it starts with spoken words, then teaches how those sounds are written. Reading, spelling, and writing are built together in every session.

Skills your child will practice every week:

  • Segmenting sounds and mapping them to written letters
  • Decoding multisyllable words
  • Oral reading fluency
  • Handwriting and spelling, built into every lesson
  • Flexible spelling patterns instead of rigid rules
What's Included

Everything in the intensive

24 live small-group sessions

Two 50-minute Zoom sessions a week for 12 weeks, in a group capped at 5 so your child gets real attention.

A certified EBLI instructor

Sessions are taught by a certified EBLI instructor with years of dyslexia intervention experience.

A personalized learning profile

Before the intensive, your child completes an individual reading assessment. You'll receive a report that breaks down their strengths and weaknesses, and we'll use it to track progress throughout the intensive.

Every session recorded

Sick day? Travel? Every session is recorded, so a missed day is easy to make up.

The Right Fit

Perfect for students who are behind, but don't need in-depth intervention

This intensive is a great fit if your child…

  • Is in 3rd–5th grade (or reading at that level)
  • Is behind in reading and needs to catch up
  • Can work in a small group with light support
  • Avoids reading aloud, guesses at longer words, or reads slowly

One-on-one is the better path if your child…

  • Has moderate-to-severe dyslexia
  • Has significant trouble connecting sounds to letters
  • Needs one-on-one pacing and repetition

If this sounds like your child, learn more about our 1-on-1 dyslexia intervention program.

Co-ops & Groups

Have a group already? We will build a class around it.

If you can bring together 3 to 5 students at roughly the same grade and reading level who are free at the same time, we can schedule a private small-group class for your co-op, homeschool group, or circle of families. You pick the days and time that work for your group, and we handle the rest.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

No — it's a different methodology for a different student. Our 1-on-1 Barton intervention is deep, mastery-based remediation for students with moderate-to-severe dyslexia. The EBLI intensive is a faster-paced, small-group program for kids who are behind but don't need that level of support.
Possibly — many kids with mild reading difficulties thrive in the group. The individual assessment we run before enrollment will tell us. If your child needs more intensive support, we'll say so honestly and recommend the right path, including our 1-on-1 program.
Then we'll tell you honestly and point you toward the right support — usually our 1-on-1 Barton intervention. The assessment fee is non-refundable because it pays for a real assessment and a learning profile you keep, but if your child isn't a group fit, we apply it as a credit toward 1-on-1 enrollment. We also provide consultations prior to the assessment to help determine if your child is a good fit before moving forward.
Every session is recorded. If your child misses a day, you'll get the recording so they can watch and catch up before the next session.
Yes — we build breaks around major holidays so your child still gets all 24 sessions.
Yes! We're an approved TEFA vendor and this class is approved for TEFA funding, so you can use your TEFA account to pay for it.
We are not running a class this fall. Schedule a free call and we will add you to the interest list so you hear first when new dates are set. We can also build a private class around a co-op or group of 3 to 5 students at a similar grade and reading level who are free at the same time.
