Certified Barton Coach
As the Founder and Lead Coach at Fearless Readers, LLC, I love working together with families and staff to ensure the best possible outcome for the children we serve. The best part of my day is when I get to work one-on-one with my amazing students.
Formerly a site director for a learning center in San Antonio, I am experienced in implementing and overseeing the administration of programs concerning dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, neurodevelopmental delays, and a variety of other cognitive areas. My passion for dyslexia grew here as I was able to see the direct impact I had on countless students with the help of these programs.
Prior to working as a site director, I achieved my BA in psychology with a focus on biology and neuropsychology and graduated with Highest of Honors. During my time at UTSA I discovered my passion for teaching when I began working for the athletics center tutoring athletes. I have in depth experience working in the dyslexia program we use and have been certified by the program developer herself. Currently, I am working on my Master’s degree and preparing to welcome my first child into the world!
I have a wealth of experience in working with children of all ages, from kindergarten to college, and am fully aware of the impact and influence a successful coach or mentor can have on a person of any age. I strive in my coaching sessions to not only give the children I work with the skills they need to overcome their weaknesses in reading and spelling, but also the ability to embrace all their talents and strengths. I love to work on skills like self-confidence/self-esteem and critical thinking and am determined to succeed with every student I encounter.
I designed Fearless Readers with your incredible super-powered child in mind. I truly look forward to getting to know you and your child and designing a personalized plan for reading/spelling success.

As a mom of three girls, I love spending time with my family. Like most moms, there is nothing I wouldn’t do to help my kids. I love that my work at Fearless Readers allows me to be part of the solution to the worries and struggles other families in my community are facing.
I’ve spent years working in executive administration and event planning and enjoy the creative role I have here where I can help bring ideas to life and plan events and activities that leave the children we serve feeling inspired and empowered.
Dyslexia runs in my family and I am curious to see if either of my two girls will be blessed with it. I love this journey I am on with Fearless Readers and am so excited for you to join me.

My husband and I have been married for over thirty years. While I’ve always been aware of his distinct strengths (which are classic dyslexic strengths) and weaknesses in spelling, it took us a long time to realize he was dyslexic. Since then I’ve enjoyed learning about and researching dyslexia and understanding how it impacts my family as well as others.
I have had an extensive career in the financial industry in a large corporate environment where I worked with and managed a diverse group of people. I’ve seen how one’s written and verbal communication can impact an individual’s self-esteem and success on the job. Our dyslexia coaching program sets our students up for success and gives them the tools they need to be fearless in their lives.
